I worked all week on fine tuning my cargo pants. I kept at the crotch area and finally got it to a point I could live with.
I even got out the Katherine Hepburn muslin to compare and was surprised to see a very good similarity between the two.
I drafted the waistband facing pieces and then spent a few nights arranging the back pockets. This is a lot harder to do when you can’t see yourself!
I looked at pants I had, I looked at patterns in my library and even some of Jim’s pants but ultimately it was trial and error. I would pin them, try on the pants, look in the mirror, repeat.
Their on. And I hope I’ll have these all finished tomorrow ready for a walk around the block.
