Hi Everyone!
As promised in yesterday’s post I have a picture of the 16 Patch Double Pinwheel Quilt project with it’s new borders!
This was the first time I’ve sewn a mitered corner on a quilt top so I wasn’t exactly too sure how it would all go down but it looks like it came out just fine.
I ended up using a darker blue for the inner border. The white outer border is extra wide so I could work out some kind of vine appliqué to home my bluebirds and bluebells I’ve been dreaming about in my head! Now all I need to do is draw up some ideas for these pretty birds and flowers…
