Blue Blood Moon 2018

I walked Dara yesterday morning under a full moon.  It was REALLY bright outside, you could see your shadow.

I walked out to the park to see if I could witness the eclipse and the blood moon and only was able to see a small showing…

I did see the full eclipse but the blood moon ended up being covered in clouds and trees.

I’m sure tomorrow I’ll see a post on NextDoor.com about a person in a field taking pictures of someones house. ..  It’s just me people and there’s a lunar thing happening!

A neighbor was up at the same time and came by to chit chat (Wendy).  We always have great conversation about getting out of Illinois in the winter, then sigh and wrap our scarves tight around our necks and head home.
