I ESCAPED!
3 and a half days of captivity and I finally made it to the outside world! Yippee! And just like a little kid all I wanted to do was go to McDonald’s!
Friends, this little strawberry lemonade never tasted so good! Both Jim and I thought it needed some Vodka but that was beside the point…it was FREE and I was OUT!
This trip served two purposes. One, to get the freebie before the coupon expired and two, to see if I could drive and be able to navigate society with a leg immobilizer and crutches. It was difficult but SUCCESS!
Today (Thursday) I am going to try and drive all the way to work and then go to my Orthopedic appointment this afternoon. Good Ol’ Snoozer Dog may just have to stay home today and hang with the cat. I’m sure he won’t mind. His eyes got as big as saucers when we turned the couch into a sofa bed earlier in the week for me to sleep downstairs and he’s been on it ever since! No…don’t think he’ll mind one bit.
