I’ve always wanted to stop at the farm and pick up some of these fresh brown eggs that the sign promises!DSCF6566

Even though we live in an urban/suburban environment we are not far from the farmland here in the Midwest.  All around us are reminders this area of the country grows food, especially corn and soybeans for the world.

Every now and then, it’s good to have something fresh off the farm!

  1. Acorns do not fall far from the tree… For whatever reason I always asked Mother for the brown eggs for breakfast… after all I had brought them in from the hen house. Dad
