Dream sewing spaces. Do you have your dream sewing space? Or are you like me that just puts up the machine wherever you can find some table space and some room to move the chair around?
I think I would actually have to rent a studio someplace to actually get a perfect dream sewing space…and design space for that matter…say several thousand square feet but like you lack the funds to really make that happen so my best alternative is to turn a bedroom in my home into a creative oasis.
It’s been on the back burner for a long time. Years in fact. The room has issues with it that we have to fix first…so that is one big reason we haven’t done anything with it but this past week I asked my DH to help me move a bed out so I could finally get started.
This is a little embarrassing, I will admit,… but I know you all are just the same…so there! I’ve already told you before that some days I feel like I could be on a ‘hoarding’ show…well maybe not that bad, but I FEEL like it.
Over the next few days I’m going to give you the grand tour — or more appropriately — the ‘BEFORE’ tour and you can peak inside my little room that is just a big pile of mish mash…with issues.

This is the view from the hallway looking into the room. Already you can see the lovely blue aluminum mini blinds, the gorgeous paneling and trim…just wait…it gets better.
