Off the beaten trail

Bob even had his own tombstone for Halloween

I know Halloween happened a few weeks ago but I haven’t been able to get some photos off of our cameras and onto the computer for a while because we’ve used ALL the room on the hard drive!  I hate when that happens!

So I’ve been moving files over to an external hard drive and just today was able to get the Halloween pictures off.  We gave Bob his own tombstone.  (Bob was our 13 year old goldfish)  It was a fitting tribute.  And the house was decorated with cobwebs, spiders, bales of hay, pumpkins and corn shocks.

Now we are looking forward to Thanksgiving!  We leave for a road trip South a week from Sunday and we’ll be making stops in Paducah KY, Memphis TN, Little Rock AR and Prim AR before coming back home.

The pets are going to friends (Einstein) and a pet resort (Chloe — spoiled rotten) so it’s going to be a week of travel, family visits and fun, and I’m really looking forward to the break!

I’ve been spending a little bit of time in the sewing room contemplating if I should bring a project along with me…I need to bring something small to work on….gotta figure something out.  Anyone have any ideas?
