Off the beaten trail

Scenes from the Dashboard – N. Central Indiana

We travelled to Ft. Wayne over last weekend for Easter and on our way home we decided to make a detour in search of the JAYCO manufacturing facility in Middlebury, IN.

We drove by idealic Amish/Mennonite farms – the Yoder’s, the Miller’s, and passed by the typical small town main streets.

We eventually found Middlebury and the JAYCO plant.  WOW, lots of buildings and LOTS of RV’s!  This part of the country is RV manufacturing central.

Apparently you can schedule a tour of the plant!  But you have to do it soon as they don’t give tours in the Summer.  My thought there was that it probably gets too hot or there are times that the place shuts down.  Anyway…it was fun to see acres of RV’s.

Someday I’ll have to come back and take the tour!  How Fun!
