If you get stuck…

Oops.

This was outside my place of employment last week.  The city is replacing the water main and will eventually be replacing the street.  Unfortunately, we still have to work and businesses still have to stay in business.  We all felt a little sorry for this poor truck driver as I’m sure he had no idea he’d be falling into ‘quick sand’ where the construction crew had dug up an area and back filled it with sand.

We kept wondering how the heck he was going to get out!

Then the big Back Hoe showed up and pulled backwards on his tail gate frame and he popped right out.  I was impressed.  I had no idea those Back Hoe vehicles were so powerful, but I guess that would make sense right?

So what is the lesson here?

If you get stuck, make sure someone’s got your back!
